When you apply for a Loan, there are specific conditions that you need to agree to for us to process your application, such as consenting to us completing a credit check. Following are the declarations you make, and conditions you agree to, when you apply for a loan. We will advise you of any additional conditions that apply if we approve your loan.

Declaration

• I/we certify that all information supplied in this application is true, correct and complete in every respect and understand that if it is not true, correct and complete in every respect, or if this application has been made using the name and/or details of any other person, this application may be declined, and I/we may be liable to criminal penalties under the Crimes Act 1961 or any similar legislation relating to identity theft, fraud or similar.
• I/we acknowledge that we will verify the information I/we have provided, and I/we may be required to provide evidence of that information.
• I/we certify that I/we have reached 18 years of age.
• I/we certify that I/we am not an undischarged bankrupt, or liable under any proceedings under the Insolvency Act 1967 or the Insolvency Act 2006 and their amendments. I accept the terms and conditions outlined above.

Privacy Act 1993 and Credit Reporting Privacy Code

I understand that the vehicle dealer or any nominated finance company on dealers' behalf will use my personal information to check with Veda Advantage's credit reporting service to credit check me which may also include verification of my identity as may be required by the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism act 2009.

I understand that:

Veda Advantage will provide the vehicle dealer or any nominated finance company information about me to include verification of my identity as may be required by the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism act 2009 to Veda Advantage, and that Veda Advantage will hold that information on their systems and use it to provide their credit reporting and electronic identity verification services. When other Veda Advantage customers use the Veda Advantage credit reporting and electronic identity verification services, Veda Advantage may give that information to those customers. If I default in my obligations to any third party you have successfully arranged my finance through, information about that default may be given to Veda Advantage, and Veda Advantage may give information about my default to other Veda Advantage customers. The vehicle dealer or any nominated finance company may use Veda Advantage's credit reporting and electronic identity verification services in the future for purposes related to the provision of credit to me. This may include using Veda Advantage's monitoring services to receive updates if any of the information held about me changes.

I confirm & authorise the vehicle dealer or any nominated finance company to communicate and receive information as requested now and in the future, with any Finance Company, Bank, Credit Reporting Agencies, New Zealand Transport Agency, Ministry of Justice, Work and Income NZ, (or any government agencies), my Employers (past, present), or any other agency or company, Financial and Commercial information as may require for the following purposes: Considering and assessing any application for finance.

I understand I have the right to know who is collecting and holding information and also the right to have access to it and to correct if it is wrong.
